The Gaston County Workforce Development Board Youth Program provides a comprehensive, integrated mix of services to build the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for young adults ages 16-24 to participate in a productive workforce. This is a year round program for both in-school and out-of-school youth. In addition to the job training portion of the program, participants will have educational opportunities to develop their employability skills, explore their roles as citizens, and develop stronger interpersonal skills.
